Do pistols rounds count towards our 300, or can we use a pistol in the unlikely event that we run out of ammo?

A pistol with a mag or two is fine, especially for those situations that are too close for a rifle.

Ammo for the pistol is tasken out of your 300 rounds per engagement allocation.
Otherwise we end up with the ridiculous unlimited ammo pistol game and it makes conserving ammo with other stuff pointless.

so that will be 20 rounds for my kar 98, and 30 in my broomhandle , and 200 in a speedloader, 50 spare for comrades who need em, in a bag
