Thanks to all the players who turned up a real effort was made by both sides and the prop makers.My group had a fantastic time. It was my first event along with the group and we have met some great players and can now put some faces to their names. The youngsters have been blown away by it all and even though they were on their chinstraps when we got home it was straight onto Epic militaria to price up more kit for the next game. Take it from me you have at least the 8 of us booked already and I know others who could not make this one were jealous.
I have to admit the sight of the German skirmish line moving across the field to the river crossing was a sight to see, just the clicking of car drivers necks as they drove past on the main road broke the silence until the sound of the piper was heard on the horizon.
Aaahhh the river crossing. As Steiner said German efficiency at its best, It was going smoothly as I crossed first took up a firing position as the pioneers rushed across to the shout of "Man down" It then dawned on me one of our compatriots thought it was time to wash his feet legs and almost more of his body than he wanted to think about as he slid gracefully down the bank into the water filled ditch 
I know the others on our group are not members on here so they wanted me to pass on their thanks aswell.

Loved the open fields and large feel of the area. More 
i would like to thank all of you for coming to ford, i do belive that we are all hooked now on ww11 side of airsoft
the planing for the next one has now started for the same time next year
it will be bigger and better we ran out of time to build our tank so look out lol
