Ive put this in here as its not your regular WW2 event but will be loads of fun.
"Time Vortex"
Usual mid month Tuddenham game but with a twist....
1943 saw some very strange weather over Europe and Africa, electrical storms and fierce tornadoes seemed to rip apart space time for just fleeting moments. Unfortunately for fighting troops in these areas got caught up in these very vortex's and disappeared, never to be seen again....
Until 09/08/2014 when all the soldiers, allies and axis alike are thrown into another, unwelcome invasion.
Beginning of 2014 the USA, growing uneasy with the EU's potential power, decides to screw everyone and invade Multiple countries within the EU - Great Britain!! How very dare they!!! UK, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Denmark to name but a few have all been cut off from each other and now having to deal with these dictators!
Seeing the good folks of Blighty being forced fed twinkies and their god awful ale is enough for even the out of time US soldiers to team up with the Brit's and (who'd have thought it) the Jerries! To teach these nancy boys proper warfare and kick them out of Europe, one country at a time.
So in simple terms it'll be WW2 vs Modern.
If you don't have any WW2 kit but would like to play their side, we'll have plenty to kit you out.
We are also going to have a BBQ on the Saturday night with meat and 'proper' beer! £15/head. Tickets for the BBQ can be paid for by paypal-link to be set up ASAP.
