As a quick aid to planning some missions can i confirm this list is right?

1.Rich (Yith) British
2.Chris US
3.Tristan US
4.Gary Barton SS
5.Cliff Archer SS
6.David Barrat SS
7.Geoff SS
8.Trevor Court SS
9.Terry US
10. Richard 16thSS
11.Josh German
12.Nige German
13.Mark German
14.Yankee Mike US
15.Little Dan US
16.Stuart Brit Airborne
17.Robert Brown US
18.Mark SS
19.Sam US
20Patrick Salvadori US
21 Gadge Brit Inf
22 Sian Westall Brit Inf

If so that makes it nine vs thirteen which is about right seeing as the allies are on the offensive. Only want to check so Josh, Justin, Mick and I can give both sides realisitc and challenging objectives.

If i've got you down wrong let me know asap and I'll change it!

See you on Sunday troops!

I had a cracking day.

Like i said at the end brief, the Germans deserved to win, they ran us ragged all day and although the sides were even we felt quite hard pressed at times.

My lady Sian loved it to and she's well up for getting involved in WWII airsoft now so thanks to you all for making her feel welcome and involved (shes suffering a bit in the achy legs department today though)

I think my mate Jay is now hooked as a US Ranger now as well (josh can you PM me about your ranger kit hes interested in dude).

I really enjoyed observing/marshalling the field phone/minefield mission, watching the reichsfuhrer lads sneak up to the US cp and post in a grenade was priceless!

And again as said at the brief the level of sportsmanship was outstanding, people were realy giving their opponents the benefit of the doubt with grenades, there was no accusations of teflon types or any of that sillyness.. cracking day.

Lastly thanks to Josh for being my worthwhile adversay and partner in crime for scenario planning.

I think its probably only fair now to reveal the minefield you all gingerly tiptoed through was actually a dummy one! (dont get complacent though it might be real next time)

See you all soon in the New Year!

just a few words from me,

realy enjoyed having you guys down yesterday, it was bloody cold but from what I saw it was some of the best game play by all who attended I even managed a couple of games myself! from speaking to a few new guys to WW2 softing they appeared hooked and where asking for info ref kit etc all day!

hopefully will run another event next year when I have finally built a couple more positions and finished the checkpoint (still work in progress!) and a few more anti armour obstacles (so glad my plan of blowing them worked!!)

huge thanks to Josh and Gadge for running both sides and gaming ideas!

hope to see you all soon

Justin :good:
