Not silly questions at all chap, proper preporation prevents etc etc.
Medic bandages, if you want an authentic looking ww2 dressing with blotches of your precious blood (look alike) then bring your own. If you're not bothered I'll be supplying strips of white sheet. It holds out better than actual bandage, and looks better longer. It is after all, a hit indicator rather than a life saver.
Ammo limits will be 300 rpl that's between pistols and main weapons or 2500 rounds with a support gun. Support guns have to look like a ww2 gun though and have to be fired deployed, ie, supported on a bipod, log or comrades shoulder, at no time can a support weapon be used Rambo style from the hip.
Please feel free to ask as many questions as you like fella, the more prepared you are, the less time we have to spend sorting these things out.
It's not a big scripted event it's a good game in the woods with like minded players, having some fun shooting each other. I know Kroot and his cronies will be in attendance so expect some serious amounts of banter as well
I've just got my order through from SOF, so have some bits of spare kit. Can i bring them along and see if any newbies fancy some cheap entry level stuff?
I'm a hero with coward's legs.
Of course fella, no problem at all
Cheers Jimbo. If anyone is interested i'm bringing along a Belgian Denisonin (big lads 48 inch chest), and a couple of pairs of BD trousers (one canadian and one 49 patt - 34-36 waist).
I'm a hero with coward's legs.
What time is kick off?
@ Fremsley dibs on that Denison, as long as it fits. @ Hanschen, we want to kick off at about ten so get there 9 - 9.30
To help save time, can everyone who are bringing youngsters to the game please go to this site
http://www.eliteactiongames.com/dorking/rentals.htm
click on the consent form and print it out and fill it in please.
I will have blanks printed out on the day for anyone who doesnt have access to a printer, so it's not a major issue but it will help with booking in. Please note you dont have to send a copy to Mr Andrews, as long as we have a form filled out on the day.
Many thanks guys
Jimbo
It's been hellish at home this week, the flat smelled of freshly baked bread, now I come home and it smells of Bread Pudding, and I'm not allowed any untill Sunday

Surely you need to test the goods to make sure they are OK and up to standard!

Sorry guys, is there any chance there is anyone from the brighton or hove area going? I'm stuck for transportation at the moment and can't make it otherwise
Hang on! (x) of you, (y) of me, dont mind playing Airsoft, I make that Pimms O’clock
Where do you need to get picked up from? Of course there's a no Axis rule in my vehicle (actually it being a Saab make its neutral ground)!

Big thankyou to the organiser.
I really enjoyed the game finally putting faces to their names. All very friendly apart from the weather
If I could find the weather girl I would line her up and shoot her. Anyway I have fought with mud on my boots before so this was nothing new.
Good to see a contingent of French taking an active part, even if they did bleed out a lot. Not sure if they managed to take any objectives we seemed to have all of them pretty well covered but what they lacked in objectives they certainly made up with enthusiasm, just befor lunch I was charged by 2 stirling French types not a White flag in site, I noted they wern`t holding their rifles so thought they had gone crackers until the lead one started firing with a pistol which I had not seen. An act of bravery or running into the sites of Herr MP40 foolishness! The latter was the case shot them down then off to lunch. Catering got a 4 star rating from Luc my oldest and thumbs up from Sven the youngest
Even managed to snaffel a piece of the infamous Bread pudding uuummmmmmm!!!!
Big thankyou again for a great time even though I had to leave early. Certainly be back again.
Cheers Jimbo
PS I noticed the photographer snapping away any ideas where I can view the pictures as my boys would like to relive the moment
Cheers

Nelson the photographer took a shedload of photos and as soon as he's sorted the best of them out I'll post up a link to his photobucket account for all to view.
I've just got back in and I'm warming up with a cuppa before I unpack the car and start cleaning down all that muddy kit. I'd like to thank all the players that turned up despite the non stop pouring rain, you all did very well and proved once again that WW2 airsofters are the greatest to play host to.
I cant guarentee the next one will be dry but hopefully we'll get a game in the summer so at least it will be warmer
I don't know why you are all complaining about the weather. I personally stayed nice and dry in my lovely high vis jacket. But seriously good effort on all of you guys playing in this weather without modern water proof gear.
i did it twice before some sneaky german waited for me in the dark woods..
That'll be me,If that was you with a red beret on. A great day with good food. And if i see the weather girl she's gonna get a good 12 inches of German steel up her oooh err!
And again thank you for having us.
Near soaked through but wool kept me warm,
These adrian helmets sure do make a nice ringing sound when they get hit! just as well as some times I was not so sure if I mistook a long range hit for a heavy raindrip/drip
Maybe we can have a return to Brittany at some time when better weather is expected. Just so we can give the scenarios the work out they deserve.

Great day, even though it tipped down. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves and good to see a few new faces at Worthing (and of course few old ones). Excellent gameplay on both sides and top grub as usual. Roll on the next one.
A fab time chaps - cheers. however, one fly in the onitment - my sten is knackered. Basically the mag click in mech has fallen off. Can we get any spares with the demise of AGM?
I'm a hero with coward's legs.
I'll give you £50 for it, to help towards the cost of a decent gun if you like
and hurrah its was a pleasure to have you at our site! without you frenchies, our allies would have been even more outnumbered !
Well we aim to please,
Thankfully the others are a way better shot than I am.
