I know I'm a 'newbie' as I've only ever been to one event (Wotan), but please count me in.
I normally do yank re-enacting but have always had a set of BD badged up to a Captain in the Hampshire Regt. Happy to re-badge and take some pips off, (could you use another junior rupert?), but possibly not in time for D-Day (I'm still in negotiations with the wife about that one!) - I've only got a thompson and an WE 1911 at the moment, but thanks to Steiner I'm hooked, so it's only a matter of time before Warren gets a call...

Its ok.
We tend to put the pips on rank slides so we can share the job so just take em off if its no toruble and if you fancy volunteering for an officers job at a later date then you can slip them back on.
We realy want to get the rifle sections together first.
Be great t have you on board however you chose to do it though.

BTW did you reach consensus on Denisons? that bloke called Panzerfaust1943 on e-bay seems to be pretty reasonable???

well yith and i are waiting for our rangercamp ones to arrive, they look bloody good so far form pics and we think they are the ones panzerfasut is selling. )i'm also waiting for windprof suit off him)
my *current* recomendations would be:
budget: Replicators
don mind spending a bit more: Gmax/militray tours.
However it looks like panzerfaust/rangercamps will be like having a gmax one at sanjay prices.
Any one is fine for us though.

I'd hold off for now on the denisons
Rangercamp's look the way to go... but we need to check them first...
D-Day isn't going to be a PBI event anyway... I think the next PBI event will be in March 2008 (or maybe April)...
Although a training event before then is possible... maybe...
