If we get time I'd like to do a few photos of a four man sas jeep patrol (sans jeep)

Need another two volunteers to pose with yith and I.

What i'd like is pretty much airborne kit with simple belt kit and a few 'affectations'.

I'd like one or two guys in denisons, one in a windproof smock, one of us (most likely me) in jackboots, one in leather jerkin, puttees, maroon berets with Army air corp badges.

Essentially no two guys equipped the same but with a degree of uniformity and maybe one or two bits of captured kit.

As metioned webbing should be belt order and a small pack on a single brace and or a water bottle on a brace.

Weaponry should be brit thompsons, brens and mp40s

Any takers.

Want to avoid SAS badges as from what i've read they badged up late war as AAC or RTR to avoid being hung or shot by the germans.

Cap comforter is equally ideal headwear though.

I'm sure i can manage it, i've got a somewhat 'eclectic' belt order as it is, and a black beret badged up as RTR, too.

No just pistol holster and ammo pouch on a belt. All other kit would be on the jeep or in a small pack on a shoulder strap.

I've already got a belt set up with a single MT ammo pouch and a pistol holster, i'll get it blanco'ed up for the training day.

Awesome, we ned to sort some puttees out for nige, yourself and myself evo. Although i'm sure one or two in anklets will look more authentic.

So I would suggest perhaps:

Myself in BD trousers, windproof top, jack boots, belt kit & AAC beret, revovler and mp40.

Nige in bd trousers, puttees, denison, normal webbing for bren, bren and AAC beret

Rich in para trousers, denison, 1928 thompson, AAC beret

Evo in BD with jerkin and cap comforter to hide hair

Something like this (although IMO the first pic has far too much webbing.).

I have an M2 carbine which might work if you cleverly conceal the magazine.
