Out of curiosity, does anybody know where i can get information on what sort of kit Horsa pilots would be equiped with, and what they would do after "Hard-touch"?
Were Horsa pilots RAF or Army, and if so, what units served with the 2nd south Stafford during their deployments?
Edit:
Okay, just discovered that the "Glider Pilot Regiment" is an Army unit. Thats one question answered at least
I belive that glider pilots wore para kit but with glider wings above the right pocket on the denison, they wernt supposed to do too much fighting as they were to get home asap because of their expertese.
A Website all about them:

However we need riflemen in PBI not GPR, we already have a top notch one in Steve/Woodlander

thats not a problem, to be honest, after all, it's 2nd Battalion South Staffs, not GPR as the impression
To be honest, i'm interest in the history of the Glider regiment itself. A good few years ago i used to be quite knowledgable about ww2 raf avaition but something i didnt touch upon was the gliders (who would when there are Hurris and spitfires to drool over )
I should be getting my bonus in april which will let me look at getting a JG Bar-10 and getting kit for the basic South Staffs impression.
I have to say, i'm actualy looking forward to playing a game with bolties being used. I'm finding that the constant use of Hi-caps in conventional airsoft is killing my enjoyment of it considerably.
hi-caps? what are these hi-caps you speak of? not known in the PBI.

apparently it's a special piece of headwear only issued to make special forces feel "special"
