The correct colour and weave can be found by obtaining a 'Rifle' beret and cutting it up. The green is not just green, its 'Rifle Green' which is a specific shade. Most green felt that is found in the shops tends to be the wrong shade/weave. It is very easy and inexpensive to get a beret (an old RGJ or LI beret is exactly the same).
2nd (Ab) Oxf & Bucks LI did NOT wear epillette slides!!! do not believe the Histoure et Collections books (it says blue!?!) or effing Sof (they say green!?!), I am in constant contact with surviving members of the Oxf & Bucks LI association and have been running the only UK based living history group that portrays the Oxf & Bucks, epilette slides are ficticious!!!

this isnt rifle green as a LI rifle green beret was 12 quid and this was free, but it will do till we can sort out thr proper stuff i suppose.
