Looks like you'll need to put a loop at the back of the helmet and webbing buckles at the sides.

Does the leather and webbing versions have the same attachment method?

As I understand it the leather strap is attached by 4 bolts, 1 each side and 2 at the back close together. The bolts go through the eyelets on the straps, using different sets of eyelets is the method of adjusting the fit.

The quickest conversion for an RAC helmet is with a web strap although it will look a bit wrong as the side lugs are in the wrong place by an inch or so... is to fasten a spare side lug to the rear.

Like I did. Yith, fraid you cant have a look at the one I did, I sold it. If sabre have any 7 1/2 RAC helmets left I'll get one and do it again if you want, with Piks and everything :lol:

The webbing straps fit the one I had mate, so even though they were slightly in the wrong place I used them, as It was only a temporery stop gap. It past muster while it was on my head.
