I know you have your hands full at the mo so Im not asking for a new project 
Im just curious as to your opinion. Do you reckon its possible to use a Mosin Nagant stock to convert a VSR into a passable airsoft replica?
I suspect it would involve carving the stock up as you'd need to make space for the mag well. Just a thought. Cheers dude.

i,v dun this on an old gas k98 stock for a mate, went well but was a pain in the arse, having to mill out a lot of wood to fit the vsr into it,
i,d have to see the stock in the flesh to shadow the internals on it, see if it would fit, i,m shore the forstock on the mosant is a little slimer, that may be a problem with the mags ??
i,d prefer to try out a springfield first, befor doing soviet wepons,
have you got the stock by chance

ps, i should have some springfields stocks coming over from the phillipeans in the summer, so going well i,l have some springfields stocks converted over with vsr internals,

Yup. Got a deac Mosin Nagant. Personally I think its too long for skirmishin (it is huge!). I going to swap it over for a carbine version soon and see if thats any better. As it stands it wont even fit in my ample rifle case!
