US M43 type buckle boots,
these are postwar french made boots to the wartime US army spec,
fantastic condition with lite use on the soles, but uppers are dirty or "lived in"
including lases,
the french used a huge amount of US WW2 surplus, equipment and weapons after the war to re arm etc, and continued to make there own once the US surplus dryed up!
size 45 so a good uk size 10 1/2 to 11
£70 including delivery
why pay 90 for repro boots...
pm me for more sizes as i have many of these boots,
team shoot and scoot, TL
You may want to measure those upper for calf sizes, i've a pair that fit perfectly round the foot, but the buckle upper is about 2 inches too short and so won't go round my leg
But yes, otherwise very good boots.
To the tune of "Mademoiselle from Armentières"
Napoleons army ran away, As you do
The guard stood firm for Frances Pride, As you do
They said the guard will stand and die
But we heard what their Colonel cried
It wasn't pretty I tell you.
Resistance is fertile
Yes these were made to look like the US WW2 boots that the French were still using after the war.
I had some US size 13 but they were too big for me.
I hope the leather is still soft on these.
They also grip the ground a hell of a lot better than the WW2 or replica boots.
Free speech is expensive these days!
