I have now got most of my soviet kit, however I am stumped as to a choice of gloves. I assume they wore them considering how cold russian winter is, but i'm not sure about style or material they were made.
Any help greatly appreciated!

Standard gloves were of the plain brown woolen variety. In very cold weather you'd have the 3 finger felt mittens as shown in steinlagers pics.
