I'm sure there were about ten of us behind that berm, then i charge forward and there's only another two guys with me!
A bit like the U.S GIR charge to get to the bazooka team. I "suggested" that we form up in extended line and assault the position and not to stop, in spite of casualties and being under fire. End result? As soon as we came under fire, in true airsofter mode, everyone hit the deck, leaving me the only one standing up and moving forward. Needless to say, I became the target for every German! After that, the GIR were just picked off, one by one.
When I want your opinion - I'll tell you what it is!

I got riddled in the first two seconds of that, by Rich and those guys by the sounds of it, as per usual.

I know as soon as we moved out of cover 4 of us went down and everyone else dissapeared XD
Was I the only one from the US who made it to the bazooka team in one piece, well I say one piece, Lardy and Angel made sure i was in several pieces as soon as I came face to face with beds who was sat reloading his mags! hehe
Yes you were the only one who made it anywhere near the bazooka team and even then you were well peppered. Chommely said he could see shots bouncing off you as you ran but you obviously couldn't feel it them as you were too focused on getting there.
Pete59 and another player got reasonably far forward but those uncamouflaged M1 helmets were easy to spot in the grass.

hmmm
I was actually concentrating on feeling on whether I was getting shot (since I was running the gauntlet of germans on 3 sides), because I was gonna throw myself on the ground if I'd got hit
Just goes to show that a moving man really doesn't feel every hit on them. I've seen it happen many times.
Also because Webby's got a second skin of webbing and kit covering every inch of his frame!
Absolutely - noise of running, pounding heart & breath, adrenaline. Unless you get whacked in the face or the helmet you don't necessarily know.
No one is cheat calling BTW!
The legs are a good place to hit as well..
We don't want to encourage unnecessary head shots do we!
still, concerning for me, not had that happen before.
dont worry crap game, its not like you have a repitation for not taking hits, i am sure we have all had hits that didnt register.
It was a dash to your inevitable death and glorious Webby, breaking cover with at least two enemy guns pointing at you. Only you would have attempted it.
I'm uploading pics to Flickr as I type - I'll link when done!
I wouldn't worry about it Matt, your integrity is not in question and never has been. You were running, so, not firing back and hitting them in return. I saw a couple of rounds hit your pack but knew you had about 3 seconds to "live" anyway and there's no way you'd have felt those particular hits. The amount of German fire coming at you was going to get you anyway as soon as you stopped running.
When I want your opinion - I'll tell you what it is!
I'm dissapointed that I didn't to be honest, I was wanting to have a glorius helmet rolling off down the hill style death. I wasnt actually expecting to do anything once I had gotten there, I think I had about 3 rounds left in my pistol, and my ammo/gas was back underneath the tree where I left from.
Yes no cheat calling here, you're honesty is not in question. After all you took the running hit earlier even though you didn't realise you'd been hit until you stopped. I personally didn't see you get hit until you stopped as I was looking ahead of you where I was shooting rather than right at you. It was only when CW told me that I knew you'd been hit before you got there.
We've all done it at one point or another and as Headshot said the ammount of gear you carry its a wonder you can feel any at all.
A death dive on the run would have looked very cool, I'm sorry I didn't shoot you enough to give the chance to do it! Actually that was my biggest disappointment of the day, I didn't get the chance to act out the dramatic death scenes I had planned.

I did. Loads of the things.

Should see the bruise on my leg, no wonder it started stinging
Sorry. I was only using 134a too. That single shot made up for the fact I couldn't hit a barn door with the thing the rest of the day. I managed to miss you with 5 shots when you were sat still yet hit you on the move. The gun was shooting straight, I wasn't.
as soon as I came face to face with beds who was sat reloading his mags! hehe
and I nearly shat myself...
I'm busy fannying around with K98 mags and a bottle of tiny wee plastic balls, confident that the pampered sons of democracy are a long way off to the left. I turn to ask Carl something and suddenly there's Matt right next to me with a "killer" look all over his phizz. It put me right off my Leberwurst I can tell you.
