I'm a hero with coward's legs.
For the past two weeks I've been wetting myself with excitement! All I have to do is go out tomorrow and get some food to bring, a sleeping mat and some other provisions.
I have sorted out all my kit now apart from assembling my rations in a single bag. Excitement levels will rise after the weekend. Don't ask...

Car all packed and setting off now for the far distant south. It's so early because I am going to the Russian victory day celebrations in london tomorrow as well..

I discovered I had rather more sorting out to do last night than I anticipated, however all the gear is now finally packed and all I need to do is charge some batteries and make my sandwiches. For some reason I seem to have decided to bring all my 'survival' gear intended for Hut 19, it all fits in the Bergen anyway.
Only one more full day at work, so call it a 6 verging on 7.

Car packed on Monday, as I work in Leeds now and will be going from there instead of God's county. Work a total a#se though, so trundling along at a 6. Clear the desk and I should be able to nudge that up nicely by Friday afternoon. 
Yep, it is preoccupying my time.
most stuff sorted.
Just food to get (Friday), spare battery to charge, sort sleep and wash kit.
Oh and a shave. I've been playing in a Victorian Sci-fi larp so have a fullish beard. Time to shave it down to something more acceptable for a WW2 Tommy. It has been demanded by friends that I go for the service tash/porn tash!
