The actual battle took place in a January during the allied counterattack to destroy the salient or bulge that the Germans had achieved in December. Following hard fighting both US and British troops pushed the Germans back in awful weather.British XXX corps spearheaded the attack against mixed kampgruppe of tough German units. Finally troops from the Highland Division met up with men of the 84th US infantry division on 11the January in La Roche. A hard fought campaign.
Our battle will be based on a German densive scenario in the Ardennes forest surrounding LA Roche. Allied units on the attack must destroy all enemy opposition and push them out of the area.
Campaign medal if acceptable.
