Well, seeing as i'm sat at home, wishing I was there now full of beer, and cold in a doss bag waiting for tomorrow, I thought i'd start a thread on the training day and its benefits to all. I am so peed off I couldnt get the time off work, but I need my sick time for a week in late october to visit my mate in germany. When you all start getting home, i'll still be in work extremely miffed!!!

Anywho, hope today was good, and I will wait with anticipation for all your newly learnt skills/dusted off cobwebs to be put into action at Wotan.

Up the 27th!!!!!

Tiny.

Very good day, bit wet at times (sorry for the Derbyshire rain for those that camped last night!). Good to chat some more with familiar faces and to get to know the new faces too.

Big thanks to Chris, Pete and Gadge for the instruction, awesome to put theory into practice too. And thanks to Major and assistant Sy for the pyro barrage - body parts everywhere! (Not really, safe and controlled as always).

Cheers Stubblehopper - looking forward to the next one!

Note to Allies, you missed something special here, the Brits and Yanks got just as much out of this as the Axis - they weren't just cannon-fodder!

Top day all round

cant thank Stubblehopper and the guys for putting this one on and letting me help out.

Allies really had some good teamwork going.

I felt that everybody really got inot the lessons and did their best trying them out before the 'exercises'

Good to chat to everyone and really nice to meet lewis and have a laugh on the journey there and back!

Top marks to everyone involved.

Stubblehopper : Section battle drills next, you know you want to... we coudl do the best part of a day on that alone!

shame theres no sound on it  have to wait for porta's to be uploaded for the full effect of that :D There should be loads of great pics to see, I only took those few pics above and a couple of major (what was the fee for not posting them again ;) ) so am looking forward to seeing what the ambushes actually looked like from a 3p approach rather than in the thick of it

GS patrol walk into Allied ambush:

Body searching before pulling back into cover

Following SS patrol discover the carnage

And set off into the woods in pursuit
