Your best bet would be to ask one of the outfits that re-enact them

Very limiting for a playable impression though.

Generally speeking Regiments didn't have a patch - they hid have 'Distinctive Unit insignia' that was worn on smart cloths (but even then more likely at the end/after the war).

They would wear the patch of their division, in this case the 34th Infantry Division.

However the 442nd Regimental Combat Team did have a patch of their own. The torch from the statue of liberty.

I'm not sure how this was used though as in all the WWII photos (and re-enactor photos) I can find all, are wearing the 34th ID patch (or no patch at all).
See ebay for 34th ID patches:

Note in some re-enactor pics I've seen the patch is also painted on the front of their helmets. So you'll want to do some extra research.

Oh, I spent about 30mins going through websites this morning and then gave up. Wiki insisting they were part of the 92nd didn't help!

B&H's link is a bloody good one... so I wasn't going to post, but then thought what the hell, lets muddy the waters a bit! :)

I am rather a fan of the 442nd myself...

I'm not sure why it's a limiting impression, they did a lot more that 101st...

Sounds like an interesting project Zoidberg, make sure and post a photo or two when you get your loadout finished.

Now now children. Play nicely or I'll start saying things like 'you're insulting very brave veterans of a decorated World War 2 infantry division for the sake of a bad joke.'

442nd sounds like an interested unit. Post some photos of the finished outcome!
