Market Garden game? You missed Arnhem then?

American Marketgarden Event...that game was brit only. As an avid 101st Airborne I say Eindhoven? Nuenen?
Can involve a link with the Arnhem game because British Airborne were rescued by the 101st, which means that it can involve Brit players as well. Oh and the Germans if they fancy it.

Actualy i read somewhere that the vast majority of the 1st airborne was rescued by the Canadian's and the Scots engineers from the 50th devision when the moved into the "island" between nijmagen and arnhem, annyway if the 101st wernt so clumsy as to let there bridges get blown up then mabe the operation could have succeded.

I'm not arguing about this twice lol They got a regimental citation for rowing across the river and rescuing Brit paras from the other bank.

I only say that because I got laughed at by....oooo say everyone until Oddball found something which said that they had. And I agree they were probably not all rescued by the 101st and I think they were assisted by the Engineers.

There were literally thousands of them Alex, in Band of Bros it only refers to roughly only half that amount.
