I've just managed to pick up a cheap helmet but it needs a respray. Could someone please advise me on the correct colour paint and point me in the right direction of where to get some.

Instead of 4 or 5 tins of Humbrol HU155 you could be completely pedantic and use a mix of 4 cans HU150, 2 cans HU10 and 1 cans HU154. Apparently this is the closest match to the FS33070 colour but... quality control on paint colour wasn't what it is now so a shade difference either way on 33070 wouldn't be noticed.
The paint guide though is excellent and each time I see it I swing from 'sell the spare lid' to 'fix the spare lid'.
