Can you use 0.25g bbs in a non-upgraded AEG? Stupid question? Don't care haha

short answer yes you can, some of my boys only use them as they are very accurate, the only down side is they don't travel as far as an 0.2

Is the range dramatically less? I was impressed when I went to Tudders because they appeared to cut through foliage a bit better than the 0.2's. Much to my dissatisfaction! But don't want to use them if they're going to disadvantage me in range.
Oh and have you pressed my overalls yet? No creases in the legs please

Range is still good and yes they go through bushes a bit better, I would use them but they cost to much when your gun crazy.
Your overalls are thrown in a nice pile with the others at the moment. as they broke the washing line today lucky they are not white or I would have had to re-wash them as Diane was out

make sure you adjust the hop to suit the heavier ammo, with a bit of tinkering you can get the .25's to travel quite far, the extra weight can carry them further than you think once the hop is set just right!
I use .25's in all my pistols apart from my M10 revolver which likes to fire .30g ammo, it's all down to the hop unit, take the TM scorpion and similar low output electic guns, they have a low fps but have a really good hop unit which when correctly set can give them as good a range as a 328fps aeg.
"Major Bernard Himmler, does the name mean anything to you?"
I agree about 0.25s in pistols they really do go better yes and my socom likes 3s and it is a pistol that can compete with most aegs
