have a spare m249 gearbox doing nothing so i might have a go at making a .30 cal browning.
does anyone know where i can get blueprints or basic dimensions for one.

The "0.30 cal book" (which you can get via the last link) has the dimensions laid out. If you can't see them, I would suggest you shouldn't be using power tools.
