hi all
have a spare m249 gearbox doing nothing so i might have a go at making a .30 cal browning.
does anyone know where i can get blueprints or basic dimensions for one.

The "0.30 cal book" (which you can get via the last link) has the dimensions laid out. If you can't see them, I would suggest you shouldn't be using power tools. 8)

Other pages have side plate patterns as well.

what link did you get that from, all i got was a video.

edit: ah sussed it now, cheers. and my eyes are not that bad (yet), its my brain that is screwed :)

I used the same guide and this is my result

Still need to make it working
But i got a M14 which fits in it, so it is still in progress ...

Hey nice job always like to see them finished but I don't often see the results :good:

It looks like you oil blued it as well.
