Hi everybody
I was recently looking for a starter gun for ww2 airsoft for myself and I found this.

https://bbguns4less.co.uk/products/Well ... -Gun-.html

It is advertised as an m14 aeg but it is quite evidently an m1 carbine. the fact it describes it as a ww2 rifle in the description confirmed that. with a bit of work (removing the bloody ris and repainting) this would be quite useable. thought it would be good to share this but it has probably been seen before but what the hell :D .

if the link doesn't work just put this into the just bbguns search bar: Well D69 M14 AEG Airsoft rifle BB Gun

It`s probably overpriced in the UK for what it is, and it`s doubtful whether the gearbox would last long. Having said that, a chap over on the US forum bought one over there and did a review on it. Worth a read http://ww2aa.proboards.com/thread/10436/cheap-semi-auto-m1-carbine

thanks for the link, from what ive read they need a bit of work to look right and they only average about 250 fps. If the price comes down it could be ok for ww2 rentals?

Unlikely, they're almost certainly far too fragile when compared to MP40's and Stens.

Generally, you get what you pay for, and if you pay bugger all, expect it to bugger up.
