Hi guys, have just bought a second hand one of these, it arrived today, just a few question about it, first of all has anyone got a link to a good take down video, as i want to strip it down, as its a little wobbly, unless this is a common thing with them, secondly where the hell is the battery compartment and what do i need to do to access it

Also how easy to buy are new cocking handles, or the part that its attached to, as the one on mine is very very loose, and i'm worried it could come off when i skirmish it :|

Also it came with a sling, can someone please give me a pictoral reference for the right way of attaching it.

all help, comments welcome.

Thanks Phil :good:

It's pretty easy really.
-- attachment is not available --

Once you've got the upper and lower halves seperated, you'll see the space for the battery behind the gearbox.

When I want your opinion - I'll tell you what it is!

the cocking handle is attached by 2 screws which came loose on mine but i tighten them up and applied a little Loctite. never came loose again. You be able see them when the gun is split in too and when you turn the front section upside down you see them.

if you got front barrel wobble the i would suggest it being the screw under the front sling mount come loose. to get to it you will have remove the front sight assembly and unscrewing the front collar. once i tighten mine up its sturdy again.

hope that helps

As far as the cocking handle goes, the screws coming loose and the handle coming off is a common problem.

Take it off, then threadlock the screws that hold it in place. I also put a tiny amount of hot-glue over the top to lock them even further.

re: the sling, this pic should help:

You will want a 'mini' battery Marsha. 1400mAh will be just the job.

Edit: they seem to have crept up to 1500mAh! http://www.component-shop.co.uk/html/body_7vp1500afp-h.html
