recently removed the fire selector switch from my mp40 and the related parts from the gearbox, but after firing the gun on full auto for some reason the gun does a half or somtimes more or less cycle in reverse, i have opened the gearbox now countless times and everything seems to be fine, the anti reversal latch seems to be installed correctly to, i even tried spinning the gears in the box when it is together and they do not go in reverse unless it is inbetween two of the four ratchet slots on the bevel ear, any have any ideas why this is happening because i am clueless :S thanks
It's got to be the anti-reversal latch. Try swapping the latch, and the spring, with one from another gearbox.
When we were a Kingdom it was run by a King
When we were an Empire it was run by an Empress
Now we're a country we're run by a..........
just used the anti reverse latch from my 74m and sure enough it worked fine, need to buy a new latch
I should probably post my AGM MP-40 problem here too just to save space, but heres the rundown, I took it outa the box, and went out and shot it for a while, then put it back on the charger, but I accidently left that little switch on in the bottom of the pistol grip, and that might have blew a fuse perhaps, but I may be wrong. I took apart the gearbox and couldnt seem to find any probles until the whole thing just exploded on me. And now I do not know where exactly every part goes. Ill try to post a picture a little later to see if anyone can try to find a problem, but I put it back together how I though it went , and when I fired it, it fired, but the bbs just flopped out of the barrel, and it made a very weird sound while firing. Im think its either the thing at the very to top front of the gear box that points out, or its that little switch at the very back of the gearbox with the small spring thing that is at the middle top left. Sorry if its kinda hard to understand what my problem is, but I am completely lost and dont know exactly what to do. Any help would br marvelous, and I can pay whom ever decides to help me. As you can see im terribly desperate, because I would love to see this puppy work!!
Cheers,
