in general they perform as any standard gun ,around the 300 fps with standard upgrade parts for a version 7 gearbox fitting it.early ones had no adjustment on the hop ,later ones were adjustable.the main thing to consider is magazines,no hi-cap's due to the horizontal position of the mag.this means only mid-cap mp40 mag's from king arms or the standard 40 rnd mag's that come with it.if you are used to mid-cap's you wont find it a problem but if you have only had hi-cap's before then that's something to consider.lastly agm as for as im aware have been closed down and any on sale now are last of line so if you want a new one act fast.one other thing no semi or safety fire selection ,its auto only.hope this helps.

armoury
m1a1 Thompson,sten mk2,mp40,stg44,sterling,mk2 bren gun,lee Enfield no4 mk1,Mauser Kar98, Walther ppk,smith and Weston m10 and Mauser m712

Aye as dadio says - I use KA midcaps which are good for about 120 rounds - they're fine. The sten is fabulous fun - my favourite toy

Yup still being made, the only differance I found with mine and the ASG one is the ASG has BSA markings on them.

My advice would be, as soon as you get it remove all the external screws (one by one) and refit with some thread lock on them and include the screws on the mag release catch as well. Also if your comfortable doing it drill and tap extra fixings around the heat sheild helps with using a sling and rear site ring this stops the stock wobble.

Actually sound advice from Ian re the mag catch etc - as i found out when mine pinged into the undergrowth due to loosend screws!

Nice idea to put BSA trades on them, as the vast majority were build by BSA, but why the heck did they use the current/modern BSA logo :slap:
