Some bloke is selling one on the other forum. I've tried to find reviews but there aren't too many out there. One suggested that the 6mm ones are not very accurate.

Also, what is a normal FPS limit for single shot guns?

Any advice / gossip would be welcome.

It depends complelty on the site.

However usually if its bolt action single shot then it can be up to 500 fps on a lot of sites, if its smei auto then i beleive a lot of sites restric tyou to 328.

Well, it must be classed as single shot - you have to cock it after every shot.

Gucci allows them with a minimum engagement distance. Webby uses his there.

They are single shot, bolt action... but also have a pump action lever so you can get a reasonable rate of fire out of them

My 6mm Carby is the most accurate gun I have ever owned, literally picking people off from miles away, i use ultrair power gas and 0.34s, and the BBs hit the iron sights evertime!

With .34s in mine chroned at about 400, so with 0.2s i guess thats about 460ish? i dunno the math.

Definately get yourself one, if you can put up with the cocking the thing each time, its well worth the carnage. MINIMUM engagement range is a must though with it, they dont have hurt from close range, ask Joe ;)
The shotgun grip helps too, ergonomic for the tips of you left hand to grab, u can fire as quickly as u can pump.

Downside.... every gun has a downside, with the 6mm carby is that no1 stocks them anymore, nor the mags,.... so if the chap is selling you his, make sure it works before he passes it over, and make sure he has more than 1 mag for sale, you'll be suprised how quickly 15 rounds dissapears!

I have 3 mags for mine and that usually lasts me a game or so, i always bring my speed loader out with me just incase.

Incase you are wondering u can get about 8 magazines worth of BBs out of 1 mag before the gas runs out (Weather pending of course) So you dont have to lug ur gas about with you. Which is a bonus. The magazines are about a centimeter longer than the real mags, so they need a bit of 'encouragement' to get them in WW2 carby pouches.

Good purchase if you're patient, you dont have to be a sniper with this remember,... iron sights for the win. Its definately not an assauly type weapon, as any sort of assualting gets slapped with the minimum engagement range, i always have my 45 as backup incase people get too close.

Tis a bit frustrating when people dont realise they have been hit by it, as with many single shot rifles, the lesser experienced player may not know they've been hit the 1st time, a second time to a slightly softer part of the bod usually gets their act together.

Hope this helps chap! :)

Thank you, Webby. That is most helpful. I've seen one for sale, and now my G43 project is sadly scrapped, I'm considering going for a captured carbine....

Yeah the outside of the gun is plastic, however the part behind the rear sight which sits beneath the 'wood' is all metal bars etc.

I think he's butcherised the stock, Webby - it's hollowed out so it can take the airsoft gun. The solid stock can go straight back on - and it is for me.

Well, the scabbard only fits the foldy, so you may as well have it - make me an offer.

I might have 1 spare mag for sale. As M1 is pretty much buggered as a gas gun.
