I'm having a little trouble i hope someone can help , to begin with i have Jimbo's asg M1 carbine that he's asked me to downgrade , what I've done is remove the stock choke in the nozzle and fit a slightly smaller choke in order to reduce to fps , this has worked but i now find that I get 4-5 shots off and the co2 vents , there was an issue with the firing pin not re setting but i'm sure i have that cured , is it possible that the reduced choke size is inhibiting the blowback engine working ? I'm going to re fit the original choke and have another go but i can's see how it could affect it but it work's suspiciously well with no BB's in the mag ... maybe a softer rocket valve spring ?

Give me a big enough hammer and a place to stand and I could fix the world.

Having worked on four of these in recent months, it has become clear to me that these guns must be kept clean and very lightly lubricated. With continuous venting problems and being unable to get even a full mag of BBs from one CO2 bulb, I stripped the actions, degreased and then lightly regreased. They now seem to work fairly well.
I have not fettled with valves or nozzles as all that I have worked on have been sub 360 fps.
