Have just ordered my MP44

http://www.rsov.com/express/product.php ... cateId=131

Its gonna be a little hot when it arrives so Im wondering which spring do I need to downgrade it?

Our site allows 350fps but obviously I would like to lower it for CIA events :good:

Also, RSOV have no spare mags at the moment, anywhere I can order a couple?? (with Paypal?)

cheers
Rob

ooohhh not seen this one, thanks for the link.

Either a M100 or M110 would probs be enough dependant on the other internals. To give you 320-350

No worries but i dont know what there standard internals are like if its running at 400 fps then it would need some decent compoents in there to keep it at that fps without destroying something in your gearbox. Each brand always has different limits a prometheus m100 is probably the eqilivant of a M110 by Madbull as example. From my own experience Promethus springs are always quite pokey but then settle down and slowly get worse over time. Although a Madbull spring again from my own experience will give you a slightly lower FPS than a Promethus but will stay consitant for a lot longer.

Also after doing a quick search i could not find any mags related to your gun for 100%. Although at a guess
http://www.airsoftpanda.com/advanced_search_result.php?keywords=mp44&osCsid=d4bo5on9l4urg7ahmsqa6623k0&x=0&y=0 looks like your MP44 for $175 and the magazine underneath i presume works for that gun at $12 a pop.

Personally I've usually used M90 springs. I find M100 just a bit too powerful in most cases and don't mind running at sub 300fps.

They often say "If you've not got the range move closer to the target".

Also M90 are a lot easier to fit, I found that with an M100 it can be a right ball-ache getting the gearbox to close. With an M90 it's as easy as pie.

if you use rsov then the element 115 spring is cheep and about right fer 330-340 fps, mutch over that and your gun becomes high maintenance.

I think I remember downgrading my mates mp44 with an element sp105 spring, that seemed to do the trick :good:

In my AGM StG 44 i am running an m90 which gives me a mps reading of just below 105 so circa 340 fps if the gearbox on this is of the same make as my agm i would expect it to still be hot with an m100.

Cheers Pixy, will get mine on the crono when its done, I can always swop the spring out for another :good:

be interesting to see if aeg are the re-birth of agm moved from mainland china onto hong kong island to get round the law,it would seem likely but only a comparison will tell,if it is then they may bring back the whole range as and when they get up and running.

Dont know alot about the German side of Gear, but i am swayed to say that a Mp40 Sling might of been used. I know they are different to a K98 sling but not sure of the differences.

An MP40 sling wouldnt fit it, it has the slot in the butt stock like the K98 :good:

I don't think an MP40 sling is long enough.

I have seen a few statements that K98 slings were used.

Yes, they use the standard K98 sling (There has been talk on gun forums/re-enactment forums about a few rare examples of special Stg44 slings made, but it turns out they're probably fakes or post-war variants that happen to fit).
