Okay I think my battery is stuffed. It's a 9.6 3300 and the charger says its apparently fully charged but I get one jolt and it goes down to 6ish volts.
So I think I'd best pick up a new one. I'm using a guarder high speed motor on a stock JG spring. I found a 700mah 9.6 for cheap but would it last?

What's a decent size for this setup? And can anyone reccomend a cheap retailer?
