Anyone know of the BAR being used by the Brits in WWII?

The Home Guard had them I believe. Apart from that I dont think any regular units did, but I could be wrong. Airsoft wise I dont see a problem with using them for Brit infantry, seen as there's no mass produced Bren.

Brits tested them in WW1 but have not seen many pictures regarding ww2.

As killacommy said, they were the standard LMG issued to the Home Guard. The British army had the far superior BREN as it's standard issue LMG.

That's inducing cultural warfare...
I have held a Bren and fired an airsoft BAR. Each have their own advantages.

A really good comparison video. I'd recommend watching it all, but if anyone is short on time the main comparison starts at 1:26 onwards.
