I read recently that on the Russian front the Germans prefered the PPSh over the Kar98 (and who wouldnt) as thats what most of them were armed with, but also the Russians prized MP40s for their build quality. Makes you wonder how confusing it was fighting when everyone was switching weapons :)

I think I could make a PPSH out of an AGM M14!

The drum mag would be fixed and you would have to pour the BB's through a hole in the drum, it could have a sprung flap on it though.
You could get 3000 + BB's in that mag!
The barrel jacket would have to be made from a flat plate with all the holes cut first then form it around a block of hard wood.
I have a PPSH to copy but I have so many things to make so I think I will have to shut up on this my tank is calling me!

Oooo sounds good. I did think about it for a good while but my problem came with trying to find a PPSh stock to start with. Would be a sweet project tho.
