Okay, out of curiosity, what's the procedure for buying RIFs from Poland?

Anyone know what the hassles and pitfalls are?

Send the shop your UKARA number and ask them to slap the number on the parcel. If they ever sent anything to UK they should know the drill.
It should clear fairly easily but as always with anything Royal you can encounter random randomness, unexplained delays, failure to contact, or your parcel shipped to Afghanistan and (for your safety and convenience) hit with JDAM strike.

Note that gunfire currently does not have it in stock. You may need to write to them and ask them about the expected re-stock date.

Kitwhore files: S&S Lee Enfield No. 4, AGM Sten Mk. II, Tanaka Kar 98k, WE Luger P08
Wishlist: AGM Stg44, possible LE No. 4 gas project

Cheers guys. Seems fairly straight forward. Better than when I did livestock import from Nigeria. It was always fun to see what randomness they had packed and how DEFRA and CITIES would swoop

Maybe a while, just shelled out for my first set of BD after being French for years.

Cheers

Adrian.

One thing I always mention is that they do not label the parcel 'gun part' or something similar, because then laws aside parcel-force will say 'nope'. They use a courier, which should be fine and dandy and I the stuff I ordered was 'gun bits and bobs' more than full RIF airsoft toys.

The biggest problem I have had getting things from Poland is paying for the stuff. These guys accept paypal, which sorts that out. They look to be set up to sell to the UK - unlike the people I shock with my broken google-translated Polish on allegro - so it should be pretty smooth on all those fronts.

There shouldn't be any need. Most Poles know English enough to communicate and every Pole knows someone who speaks English fluently. But if you ever find yourself in this situation just PM me. I'll be happy to help.

If there is a problem I'll ask my mate who lives in Warsaw, his wife is local so they can translate if it all gets a bit strained. But as you say they all seem well set up to deal with UK custom.

Cheers.

I am just being overly British and polite - it feels rude not to try :D In fairness their first reply back to me is usually in English.
