been meaning to show this for ages and since i was doing my new toy i thought i'd share.im demonstrating on an agm stg44 hi-cap but its the same principal for any hi-cap,all im doing is filling in most of the space with expanded polystyrene packing material such as many guns are packed in plus many other things, its easily cut with a craft knife and simply taped in place.most hi-caps have a push fit pin at the top that needs removing and a screw in the bottom that also needs removing ,then the inner parts just slide out and there is no fear of an explosion of small parts as its all held together by other screws.

when trying to get the capacity correct remember that its only the bb's loose in the mag that count when filling, the mag will need to be primed so to speak, meaning that the bb's in the chanel leading up from the clockwork winder will never be shot as when the loose bb's run out the mag wont feed any more up.so if you are looking for 100rnds then first fill and wind the mag then top up,after that you can poor the loose contents back out for counting.the stg44 mag is very tall so could have around 30-40 bb's in the tube leading up to the top that can never be fired unless you invert the gun so these effectively dont count in the capacity of the mag.it may take a few attempts to get it right and 2 or3 bb's either way wont matter.
when you want full capacity back just remove it,no damage is done and you can keep the packing for next time.
hope this is of use.

Give me a big enough hammer and a place to stand and I could fix the world.
i'll kill a man in a fair fight or if i think he's going to start a fair fight or over a woman or.......
a problem shared is a problem halved ,but an advantage shared is no advantage at all
if a job's not worth doing then its certainly not worth doing well
