My first attempt on this rifle. Although it was on home guard duty during WW2, I hope that we will start WW1 airsoft in Russia sometime.
Technology is as usual, VSR-10, original wood and some external parts. I have not cut magazin well just because we have no WW1 airsoft in Russia yet and for display purpose intact stock is better. If I need it it will take several hours to prepare the rifle for airsoft battle. :)

Yes, it was a war-time propaganda staged photo.
Some say that some 'snipers'/sharp-shooters were issued them, or preferred to use them, but they mainly only ever got used by the home guard (firstly P14s in .303, and then they were phased out and M17s issued instead - to save .303 ammunition for front-line use, and keep the Home Guard weapons using similar ammo; .30-06 as also used in the Home guard issued BARs)
