Hi guys, having trouble with my bar 10 based enfield, I'm getting fluctuations between 350 and 390fps with .25s. Now I've checked the cylinder head is sitting nicely in the hop rubber, and from the looks of it the seal is leak free but I'm no expert, anyone got any ideas?
Cheers
Dan

vsr hop rubbers are notoriously leaky, there's a trick of tying dental floss around the end of the rubber tightly before building the rest of the hop around it ,be careful not to interfere with the hop arm.then see if its more consistent, also give the piston an overdose of lube as if there's a dodgy seal on the piston then it will cure it temporarily and may need a new seal.

I think Dadio is referencing a slightly different mod which does indeed need dental floss rather thank PTFE tape. The idea is to compress the rubber of the hop to create a seal rather than "plugging" the gaps with PTFE.

That mod worked well! It was great, but it turns out I've got a air leak around the piston too! But getting there, 370-90 now,
Thanks for all the help guys
