News to me!

Could you scan the page (or, if no scanner, take a photo) so I can have a butchers? Cheers!

Hmm, it says M1 next it. I wonder if perhaps it will really be a Garand and they got the picture wrong? It would make more sense to me as ICS aren't exactly known for their gas or spring guns. I'm sure either would be welcome.

Well it's all rather exciting isn't it. :good:

Heh, though I already have an SMLE... lol (I never intended to sell it EVER as making it left me with a scar and a partially numb finger, so I don't care about loss of value... :) )

But it'd be great to see a lot more of them around!

I just popped an email to ICS to try and clarify which rifle they intend building. Whether it will get answered is anyone`s guess. 8)

Being optimistic, they could have confused the British numbering system with the American, and thought "No.1" should be "M1".

It may be something along the lines of them not being allowed to call it a SMLE. Often airsoft manufactureres call guns different names to stop them being done for copywrite issues. I dont care what they call it, as long as they make it.

Yup, exactly what i was thinking. ICS's MP5 series is called the "MX5", and their AK series is called the "IK". It's deffo a No.1 shilloette, so I'm being super optimistic.

Odd for ICS though, as they're usually an 'AEG only' company...

It`s just a thought but I`m wondering if some of the manufacturers out there are having to think a bit harder about the new models they put out. Coming up with another M4 with different RIS rails maybe isn`t cutting it anymore, as the competition is so fierce. By spending a bit on R+D they can instead corner the market with one or two odd models which no one else is making, especially since the Chinese mainland manufacturers have been almost shut down. Hence the few new WW2 models. :?:

I've had a couple of ICS guns in the past, always been very happy with them.

Oh, for a single shot electric SMLE. No more spring slamfire problems, and no gas weather variability. *crosses fingers*

Can highly recommend ICS both from my own and friends experiences with the brand.

Looking forward to these new releases, the only downside with ICS is their compatibility with other brands, for upgrades etc!

So very handy for maintenance though, especially in their new MP5 series. Easy to lube and super efficient spring changes!
