Hmm I suspect they will run out of supplies very quickly tho. Im suprised none of the aftermarket producers have come up with a conversion kit yet (ie making their own parts).

Good to know tho.

No longer involved in airsoft.

Garand = iconic
TM M14 = my favourite aeg
Funds on my credit card = now sadly depleted

I have one of these ordered.

I will endeavour to put together a US Loadout and I guess I could put together some sort of Brit loadout too (it'll pass for a substitute Enfield).

Hurrah!

Andy

He does seem to be a top bloke and a real enthusiast.

As we were correpsonding and discussing options I get the feeling he's actually as excited about building this for me as I'll be to receive it =)

I'm looking forward to it.

Yep I think this is common knowledge by now.

Nobody's hiding the fact it's an M14 conversion, least of all the guy doing them who gives you the choice of using an AGM or TM M14 as the base for the conversion.

There is an extensive thread on it elsewhere which I followed off and on - he's actually done conversions on pretty much every airsoft M14 you might care to mention.

It's a damned fine effort and the most practical Garand yet to be available to airsofting. The fact that it's based on one of the best AEGs out there makes it not far short of perfect.

I love it I made the short one I almost prefer it to my mp40!

I am going to build another as soon as cash allows! It really is that good.

Does anyone know where you can get the manual for the conversion from? I DEFINITLY cannot afford the full kit, so I'll make do with bits and bobs from ebay.

its not too difficult... check out the usa boards read the tech section carefully, if you email jon (2nd Bat) he will sell you all the bits you need although he doesnt advertise the fact. You just have to be very careful measure twice cut once, can be accomplished in about two hours
