Its not as simple as that when making the decision though is it?

Remember the pain of customs dutys, charges, administrative fees and potential delay in getting it through customs.

I'll just wait and see what Zeta Labs come out with. I like the reports of the larger magazine for a start.

Yes, customs will charge 20% Vat based on the total cost, (yes they even tax the shipping costs), and then there's the shipping companys 'handling fee' which is generally £13 - £15.
As to delays etc. that varies greatly, one order took 6 weeks to sort out with me ringing nearly every day, my most recent order took 4 days from ordering :D , (this was from Red Wolf in Hong Kong), to picking up from the Parcelforce sorting office, where I had to pay the vat and handling charge :( always unpleasant although, as I'd factored in those costs before I ordered, not unexpected.

I don't think that would be a problem - CO2 pistols and the like have historically had stupid power, way above site limits, so 'no CO2' would be the simplest thing for a site to say. However, the issue is with power not the propellant so a quick chrono and all should be well. In fact I don't think I have ever heard the words 'no CO2' at any safety briefing at any site in the UK (and I've been to a lot) or seen it written on websites and the like.

Many open day type sites don't allow CO2 powered guns (nor 8mm, for that matter), out of sheer ignorance and catering for the masses mentality (yet they let ptw users change cylinders and get away with it, or don't chrono all guns). As long as a weapon falls within specified fps/energy rules, you shouldn't have a problem at any organised WW2 event with one. CO2 is far more consistent that green gas and other "airsoft" gasses, and, consistency is something very important for a bolt action rifle.

Seems to be two options for power guys and it comes with two magazines as well.

You can have a 350fps option, or a 450fps option.
I'm guessing they're the same mags but use different bolts with different size seals/springs etc to change the power output.

I'd buy the 350 one for Iron sights or the 450 if I was using it for sniping.
Having nearly finished my VSR conversion, I think it'll take a special bit of kit to get me away from the all year round predictability of a springer.

On WGC it states that the fps is adjustable from 350-450. LWA has it 350-70 or 450-70 'controllable by the magazine'? Confused - I am! If it's got a 20fps variance on C02 then I am concerned and it the lower version is 370 then I may as well get the 450-70 version as I need sub 350 for my local site. Aaargh!

As above, I'll wait for someone to take the plunge first!

Land Warrior now say they have both fps versions in stock - £375 including two 9 round magazines.

http://www.landwarriorairsoft.com/acatalog/G_P_Gas_Rifles.html

Looks like the 8g CO2 bulbs cost 25-35p per bulb depending on brand and quantity, so not hugely expensive to run (but that depends on how many magazine fills you get out of a bulb I suppose).

[youtube2]Gan1L8X1A7A[/youtube2]

Video shows 540fps with .2g bb. :(
I wonder if in the box is one bulb holder and two bb racks, not two complete magazines, as the mag is in two parts?
