So, I started this hobby in September 2014 and already I own a Sten mk5, a Lee Enfield, 1911 anniversary edition and a Zb26. I'm starting to eye up either a Thompson or the nice webley as my next gun.

Is this normal or do I have some sort of 'problem' and need to go to airsoft anonymous?

It's not like I don't use these guns and each one does fill some sort of role that the others can't, I'm just concerned (and my bank account is concerned) that I may just be getting a bit carried away... But the webley does look nice...

Regards,

Ralph

Yup I'm on 13 too and all set to get another, the Webley

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I have a small skewer hidden in the collar of my jumping jacket, and a razorblade in my gaiter, as well as my knife.

Well I'm glad it's not just me! :-D
I'm that case I'll have to get myself a webley so I can keep up with you guys... Or maybe I'll get a King Arms Thompson to complete my early war British kit.

Regards,

Ralph

I'm not going to comment on the number I have as I might be seen to be enabling you .another forum i'm on has a thread titled "i can't stop buying helicopters ,help! " mostly its more support and enabling only stopping short of effering people money to buy more helicopters ! I can see this heading that way too.

armoury
m1a1 Thompson,sten mk2,mp40,stg44,sterling,mk2 bren gun,lee Enfield no4 mk1,Mauser Kar98, Walther ppk,smith and Weston m10 and Mauser m712
Give me a big enough hammer and a place to stand and I could fix the world.

Would not be worried until you're in the double digits. :D

I "only" at 4 AEGs and a boltie

Why do you always carry that umbrella?

Well I've cut down a bit myself, I'm on 2 k98s, mp40, Thompson, garand, 2 M14s, 2 P38s, colt 1911 for my ww2 kit, 2 colt carbines a ruger and an M16 for my Vietnam kit and an mp5 and custom shotgun for my cold war kit. So I'd say too many! Lol

Problem is when you "anchor" down guns by saying oh well I've got the garand belt to go with that and I need my shotgun because its the same mags, oh and I need the m14 too as its the same stock as the garand and ..... Aaaargh!

Ends up with an interconnected web of kit and guns that you can only add to.

Well I feel completely enabled now! He he
Next time the wife complains about my gun collection I'll point her in the direction of this topic.

Just need to decide on the thompson or webley... Do I go for the early war set or get a webley because, well, it's a webley.

Regards,

Ralph

I went for the KA EBB 1928' 'cos it looks the nuts, is early war home guard and makes a great noise. A warning though is that the metal for the bolt is poo and I had mine replaced by a mate for a more robust bit of ironwork.

I did look that one up but couldn't find a seller in the UK. Shame as it looks and sounds really nice.

Having already got their M1AI I'm after the 1928 EBB too but I think there must have been a limited run on them. Shame.

Seeing as pistols don't count and I need to catch up with my fellow ww2 nutters, I've gone and bought a King Arms 1928. Now to source some short magazines and think about replacing the front grip, possibly with real horizontal wood work.

Ralph
