Hi guys, bit of a newbie question here.

How do I shoulder and fire my stg44 whilst the sling is attatched as it seems far to short to keep it "slung" whilst shouldering and firing. In the left hand its fine because the mounts are closer, but in the right hand it seems impossible!

most modern weapons are designed to have slings worn whilst fireing

on nearly all ww2 weapons, the sling was to put the gun on a shoulder, not to fire it.

it can be done but its not a part of the design to be done.

if your fireing the rifle, you shouldnt even have the sling around you.

hope this helps :good:

Thanks for that! Glad to know that me running around with the sling loose has been accurate!
