So I've been looking around and all I can find is folk saying that they will be making them. I was wondering has there been a release date mentioned yet, or any sort of activity from Hexagon?
Also is there any way to make your own stick mags out of a RS mag or convert one of the Ares mags?
Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the reply, thought the problem would be something like that. Did not know Hexagon was gone, Airsoft world must still have a good supply of ppshs.
Good to know about the vz61 mag feeding similarly, but then again the cost of one plus a rs stick means another drum would be more cost effective, plus as you say it doesn't hold enough rds to be worthwhile. Still, I will look into it.
I was thinking perhaps an mp40 mag could be modified to fit the magwell as we can reverse it so it feeds. But then the size of an mp40 mag is too small to fit with a large addition to the top of it.

Yea, i looked into an MP40 magazine as well, but after looking at the dimensions i discovered that the MP40 magazines are too long to fit in a PPSh stick mag, and the PPSh stick mags are too 'curved' to be able to jam the dead-strait MP40 mag internals inside it.
Edit: I wonder if the internals from a Thompson short magazine could be jammed into a PPSh stick mag...?
Maybe you could cut an mp40 up a bit and rejoin with putty in a curved shape? Probably wouldn't feed very well. Possibly melt it a lttle and try and bend it in a few places?
The thompson idea could work, but I'm no expert on thompson mags.
Have any idea of where to get some RS mags from? Can't find anywhere to buy from.

Good find mate, should be legal to get RS mags imported. I've seen other types of mags lying around in surplus stores and like.
Do you know if the stick mags fit with no modification? Probably will aim to get a couple eventually and mess around with them.

Shouldn't be too much of a problem if the mag is a few mm too big as I can sand it down. The problem would be if it was too small, could maybe add something thin I suppose. Will probably try with a vz61 mag first. There is one on Action hobbies that holds 90rds, do you know if that one still feeds from the rear of the mag?
