Hi guys, this may be a daft question but I'm wondering what batteries people are using in the ICS M3 Grease Gun (assuming somebody here has one). I just got one of these without realising that all of the batteries I own from other AEGs are too big to fit in properly. I guess I'm being over-cautious, but I've never actually owned an AEG that requires a 3-way split mini-tamiya battery before (at least that's what the manual recommends), and all the ones I've seen online seem to have higher mAh capacity ratings than the ones I already have . I'm just after something basic to plug in and out without any modifications and such. Yeah, goes to show how little I know about batteries.
If anyone could recommend a specific battery and where to buy one I would be eternally grateful!
Cheers,
Adam

Hi mate if you dont want to go down the Lipo route.
It will fit a 7.2v 1300 crane stock battery (3 cells either side). I managed to get a couple of GP (gold peak) ones and they havent failed me. It brings the rof down a little bit as well as the gearbox runs bearings and the ROF with a Lipo is pretty damm quick.
Compoent shop based in the UK ( I think Wales) can make them to order if you send them a call or give them an email.
Good luck.

I use these:

and I use these:

Never had a problem with either of them. Thats not to say whether they are the correct battery!
I also would recommend this battery checker if your going to go down the Li Po route:

Current Arsenal: ICS Grease Gun, ICS M1 Garand, MP40, Viva Arms Sten Mk2.
Thank you for the info guys. Maybe I will take the Li Po road after all.
Cheers,
Adam
