What do you mean shorter mag? The mag it comes with sits inside the stock, nothing protrudes anyway! Unless you want a really short mag, in which case I don't believe there is one 
Hello mate, I got hold of a couple of the shotgun mags sgttom mentioned in the k98 thread, they need a little filing down on the edges and a new slot cut for the retaining catch but they do work. I got 2 from the states about £11-12 with delivery. I'll try to find the email from the shop I bought them from and post up details later.
