Maybe the $480 price tag might... (EHobby Asia)
if it runs a ptw gearbox then that's cheap , too dear for me but then i'm a humble tinkerer and putterer and fixer of broken thing's .

Nothing humble about your creations old boy! My Sterling still purring along nicely.
I'm a hero with coward's legs.
Maybe because there's not nearly as many significant differences on the Sten.
Apart From:
The end cap is the wrong shape.
The end cap is screwed on.
The magazine is from the wrong gun.
The cocking handle is the wrong shape.
ALL of the screws on the Sten shouldn't be there.
The fore sight is wrong.
The rear sight is wrong.
The stock is attached incorrectly.
The stock is wrong.
The barrel has a plastic end.
See, we can all play the 'This airsoft gun is wrong' pissing match if you like.
It's a custom gearbox, literally.
Check out this video.
If you can resist the urge to destroy your machine, there's a part where he dismantles the thing right down to the gears.

perhaps if it was priced like a sten we,d all be much happyer even 250.00 would be fine,
i would be happyer
i like the sten,
i,d like a sterling for the same price,
i cant be at all bothered with over the top internals, that only adds pounds thats not needed, its a sterling, white stuff coming out the barrel is fine, we don't need to pay heeps for supper-dooper internals,
stick normal cheep internals and knock of a good few pounds, they will sell more, we get a good shooting gun,,, simples !
ITS A SMG
they are supposed to be a little crap !
team shoot and scoot, TL
looking at the video it's a pre production prototype , that gearbox was milled out not cast , so in short that's not the final form for it , the other thing is that's only the cylinder from a ptw not the rest of the gearbox , its the rest of the gearbox that makes a ptw special and compact, so it's not much of a selling point , if they had used the gearbox as well then the pistol grip area would not need to be oversized so it's an odd choice , the advantage is that they don't need to find space for a tappet plate in the gearbox as the ptw cylinder has a different system so it would be simpler to design a new gearbox that way.
