Hi guys,

am tempted by one of these, but would like some feedback from those who own it, most importantly i would like to know if KA have sorted the barrel weakness inherent in all other airsoft thompsons.

All feedback info welcome.

Cheers :good:

Are we talking about their super-duper deluxe version, or the bog standard one?

This is the super deluxe full wood and metal version

Yes i took mine apart before "The Drop" as was shooting more than 400 and can confirm the barrel will have the same problems. Not using a sling will help it live longer. I have the deluxe version too so i could not imagine King Arms improving it on there "cheaper" ones.

Not without modification. Although i can confirm the hop units are compatible with TM.

Yes, a little modification is needed to allow the rear stock to re attach as one of the bolt holes is 1mm or 2mm diffrent spaceing from the TM/CYMA ones. But it's easy enough to do.

Are there any other differences, reason i ask is that i have just bought a KA M1A1 minus gearbox.

Plan is to put the working internals from my broken CYMA into the KA, had assumed it would just be a case of dropping the internals into the new body, so am now a little concerned.

Does anyone have any experience of this, or at least though if the internals are identical between the two?

Cheers :good:
