Hi guys and girls.

Finally got around to fully converting my Marushin 8mm M1 Carbine into an actual war date looking version. I managed to get the rear 'flip' style iron sight off a chap in the US on ebay, and I cut off the bayonet lug on the underside of the barrel.

Here is a picture showing my 6mm carbine (which is actually either very late war/korean war spec..) with the bayonet lug and the slide 'winged' style sight, and my 8mm M1a1 Carbine which has no bayonet lug and the correct rear iron sight.
