I can't see a specific technical sub-forum so I'll post it here as it's most relevant. Hopefully someone else can help out!

A couple of months ago I bought an Hooah-conversion M1 Garand AEG (based on the AGM M14) from Tyler-D. Since Tyler has owned it, it's had feeding issues on full auto, in that it'll feed one BB out of every 6 or 7 turnovers of the gearbox.

Now obviously it's not a major issue (who ever heard of a full auto Garand anyway  ), but from a technical perspective I'd like to bounce ideas off of people. Any suggestions on what it could be?

Who needs a full auto function on a Garand AEG?! hehe, keep it on single shot!!!

What mag are you using in it, might be a magazine feeding issue? My AGM M14 high cap mags work well on full auto, my Midcap (plastic 1s) missfeeded the 1st few times i used them, so I sprayed some lube down the spout and now they seem to be working

The guy who does the Hooah conversions is a regular visitor to one of the US boards http://ww2aa.proboards45.com/ he's know as 2nd Bat, also there's a technical forum with a sub-forum dedicated to Garands gas & aegs.

You'll have to register to see the forums but I think it's well worth it, especially for you as you'll be able to contact the guy who did your gun.

Webby - I'm using the AGM hicaps supplied with the gun. Havn't had an opportunity to try TM hicaps. Although having said that,

Pete - I'm already a member actually, don't know why it didn't occur to me to try there!

Bodge, Try other mags this weekend and see how they go, it maybe that its just the mags?

Pete, I didn't buy the gun as a whole, I imported a kit and built it at home... Well, actually Taffy off ASC built it for me  , but the gun fires and feeds fine on semi! It's been looked at already and there's nothing fundamentally wrong with it, it just seems to be a feed problem :?
