hey guys, my m1 garand (gas) leaks on the second shot, not sure if its a ventilation problem, or what type of gas i use. i use green in it ( should use 134a i know) but it fires perfectly on the first shot and on the second it fires but the blowback doesnt work and all of the gas leaks out.

any help?

Tom.

your not going to like this mate, but my advice is sell the bugger and go the M14 conversion route. never heard a good word about the marushin garand.

Not sure that it's the cause of your problem but I strongly recommend that you don't use green gas in it, the reason being that green gas tends to break these, this is something thats come up on the US forum a few times.

It could be that by using green gas you've blown a seal, try using 134 and see what happens, I use 134 in mine and it works fine.

These are great guns but not really fit for skirmishing although a few have with varying success and problems.

I'd also suggest that an S&S .30 cal is not the ideal gun to replace it with. Get a Thompson if you want hassle free gaming (never thought I'd hear myself recommending a Tommy to anyone!). Custom and gas guns require a load more time and effort than an off the shelf aeg.

Well, you should stick with that then. :good: If a Garand is what you really want, get yourself an aeg one.
