So I get my M14 out of the case because I want to convert it to an S&S Garand and... my armoury has really been decimated this month:

Totally dead. Checked all the connections and battery is charged but nothing doing. Any ideas? Motor? I've not fired her for a couple of months but the gun was shooting very sweetly last time out.

Sounds silly but, have you checked the fuse?

Have you checked the fire selector lever as mine went the same and the selector was snapped, it seemed to be working when moving it but it wasn't :(

No fuse so that's one thing ruled out.

How do I check the fire selector? The FA-SA turns and the bar at the back of the gearbox (white plastic [-] thing) moves. What else can I check?-- attachment is not available --

I've been told that I might have snapped the trigger lug off.

Can someone help me with some advice on how to fix this?

I think it's the lug as I found what looks like a little broken off nub of pot metal in the stock when I stripped the gun.

Can anyone help me out with a pic of where the lug is and how I replace it?
